Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMT) is a professional qualification in Physical Therapy for the treatment of neuro-musculo-skeletal disorders. OMT is based on the last scientific evidence (evidence based practice) and use rigorous clinical reasoning & examination . Each treatment is adapted for the patients and their specific needs. OMT is recognized and integrated in the Belgian’s health system since a Belgian Royal Decree in 2014.

IFOMPT is the leading organization worldwide and is part of the WCPT (World Confederation of Physical Therapy). The International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT) represents groups of Manipulative Physical Therapists around the world who have completed stringent post-registration/post-graduation specialisation programs in the field of neuro-musculoskeletal disorders. They promote evidence-based practice.
